In only his third game with Qatar’s Al Ahli football club, Iranian soccer player Ferydoon Zandi may have ended his career. On Saturday Zandi suffered one of the most horrific injuries in recent memory. As he was attempting to kick the ball when an opponent’s leg got in the way and snapped his bone. The 34-year-old player had to be carted off the field and rushed to the hospital.
Based on the other players’ shocking reactions to the appalling injury it must have been even worse than it appeared on video.
Finally here is his mangled leg. Your foot is not supposed to face that way.
