The world’s worst kept secret was finally exposed in a more legitimate way when the English Premier League website published a premature story, which was dated for June 3rd. In what has looked like a done deal for weeks now, Jose seems to be headed to Chelsea on June 3rd. The story’s title read “Jose Mourinho makes Chelsea return’ and was followed by this text:
Jose Mourinho has returned to Stamford Bridge after agreeing to take over as Chelsea manager for the second time.
The 50-year-old Portuguese, who guided Chelsea to back-to-back Barclays Premier League titles in his first two seasons in charge, returns to the west London club after an absence of almost six-years.
Someone jumped the guna little early on this one!
