We’re beginning to think Brazil is basically the Florida of soccer. From flying kicks, to decapitations, to massive brawls in the stands, or, you know, just casually firing AK-47s at amateur soccer matches, Brazil is the capitol of bizarre soccer stories.
In the case of the AK-47s, it happened at an amateur match on May 4th, when so-called bandits celebrated a penalty kick by unloading banana clips into the air. Let’s just hope AK-47s are not the preferred method of celebration at the World Cup.
