Brazil didn’t exactly have the best start to this year’s World Cup on their own turf, scoring an own goal in the opening 15 minutes against the heavily-dogged Croatians. The crossing pass deflected of a Croatia player before Marcelo put in the back of the net for the first goal of the tournament. It was also the first own goal in Brazil’s storied World Cup history.
