Sunday’s match against Portugal brought USA soccer fans on a roller coaster of emotions. After letting up an embarrassing early goal, the USMNT tied the game in the second half thanks to a spectacular goal from Jermaine Jones. Fans reacted like this:

Then, the United States took the lead thanks to a late Clint Dempsey goal. With less than 10 minutes left to go in regulation time, fans went predictably nuts:


Then, with about 30 seconds left to go in stoppage time, Portugal managed to tie the game thanks to a brilliant cross from Cristiano Ronaldo to Silvestre Varela, who headed the equalizer past Tim Howard for the draw. The goal prevented the USMNT from advancing through to the elimination round, so you can probably imagine how those reaction videos went:
