So, you may have heard that Tim Howard was listed as the U.S. Secretary of Defense according to Wikipedia.
Well, Chuck Hagel, the United States’ Secretary of Defense to the world outside of Wikipedia, called Howard to congratulate him and the USMNT on their performance during the World Cup. The Defense Department even acknowledged the shared title between the two men.

According to a statement from the Pentagon, the call went something like this:
“Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel called U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard to thank him for defending the United States of America at the World Cup. Secretary Hagel congratulated Howard on his record-breaking game and a great run in Brazil. He invited Howard and the entire team to come to the Pentagon later this year. He told Howard that with some training, he could someday become the real secretary of defense.”
Excuse me Secretary Hagel, but Tim Howard is already the real Secretary of Defense.
