When you find a spider on the floor of a soccer game, can you really afford not to pick it up, and put it in someone’s shirt? Jokester Franco Di Santo couldn’t pass up that opportunity during Schalke’s 5-0 rout over Duisburg this weekend. He saw a spider on the floor, Leroy Sane’s all-too vulnerable back in front of him, and he took the shot.
To the fans at the stadium, I bet it looked like Sane momentarily lost his mind. But we know that Sane just had a spider in his back, and that Santo is pure evil.
