The New York Yankees faced the Cleveland Guardians in Game One of the ALCS on Monday night, and the on-field product might not even have been the biggest draw.
America’s biggest power couple, pop megastar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis, was in attendance for the postseason game. Kelce is from Westlake, OH, and is a big Cleveland sports fan when it comes to sports outside of football. Swift spends a lot of her time in New York and came to support the Yankees.
Despite rooting for different teams, the couple seemed to have a good time as they shared a suite to watch the action.
The Yankees won the game 5-2, and it appears one player, who served as a crucial part of their victory, sent a subliminal message to Taylor Swift.
Bryan Hoch, a member of the Yankees beat, noticed something that’s almost too crazy to be written off as a coincidence with Swift in attendance.
“Hey Swifties: 3 H + 1 ER + 0 BB + 9 K = 13 what if I told you none of it was accidental,” Hoch tweeted about Yankees pitcher Carlos Rodon’s stat line after the game.

In most cases, this would be a normal stat line, but 13 is known as Swift’s lucky number. The fact that Rodon would put on a show for Swift and send her a subliminal message while she was in attendance with Kelce is definitely a choice.
It’ll be interesting to see what Kelce has to say about this.
