Earlier this week, United States President Joe Biden announced that he will no longer be pursuing re-election, paving the way for Vice President Kamala Harris to take the torch and challenge Donald Trump in his place. And it sounds like she will have the support of Team USA and Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.
During an interview ahead of the Paris Olympic Games, Steve Kerr was asked his thoughts on Kamala Harris, and he was certainly not shy about throwing his support behind the Vice President as she takes up her campaign to challenge Donald Trump.
“Kamala Harris is a great candidate and I will support her,” Kerr said during an interview according to Marc J. Spears of ESPN.

It’s not exactly surprising that Kerr supports Harris as he has never been shy about voicing his political opinions and is an outspoken liberal on many issues, but his words still sparked some outrage among conservatives on social media.
Focus on beating South Sudan buddy. Most overrated coach in history https://t.co/SuBzaKWsng

Kerr is looking to lead the United States to its fourth consecutive Olympic gold medal at the Paris Olympic games with a roster full of some of the top superstars in the NBA including LeBron James, Steph Curry, and Kevin Durant.
