With United States President Joe Biden officially dropping out of the presidential race earlier this month, Vice President Kamala Harris has taken up the torch to challenge Donald Trump in the upcoming election. And ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith seems to think that she is the perfect person to challenge Trump.
During an episode of his YouTube show last week, Stephen A. Smith did not hold back on Kamala Harris as he made it clear that he thinks she is the best possible candidate for the Democratic party, saying she could “pick Donald Trump apart.”
“You know what she is at this moment in time? The best the Democratic Party’s got. She’s certainly better than Joe Biden. I don’t believe she’d be better than Michelle Obama, but I don’t believe that’s an option,” Smith said. “When you consider her prosecutor’s background, when you consider her intellect… when you consider how she could pick Donald Trump apart in terms of the lies he may tell… and she’s younger… I’d say that makes her a pretty [darn] good candidate.”
Since Harris announced her campaign, Trump has pulled out of all previously scheduled debates against the Democratic candidate, so Harris might not have a chance to “pick Donald Trump apart” as Smith suggested – perhaps a sign that Trump is “running scared” of Harris.
