The United States media space has been dominated after the CEO of UnitedHealthcare was assassinated in New York City. The primary suspect, Luigi Mangione, has since been apprehended in Pennsylvania and extradited to New York City.
After his identity was revealed many people were surprised to learn that Mangione was seemingly a normal person, rather than the deranged lunatic many were expecting him to be.
As more and more details emerge about Mangione, it’s come to light that he was an Ivy League grad who loved sports and recreational activities such as weightlifting.

Fans reacted to the news on social media.
“He’s done a lot of weightlifting which begs the question – – what kind of back pain is he in to be able to work out that hard and with such heavy weights?
“The guy is a pig and needs psychiatric help. He can have free back surgery & therapy during his life sentence in prison,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“maybe i havent found my husband yet bc he’s in jail,” added one person who is attracted to Mangione after learning that he is physically in shape.
It’ll be interesting to see how the case plays out as Mangione stands trial this week.
