Former United States President Donald Trump has never been one to shy away from giving his opinions, and he certainly did not hold back during a recent interview when he absolutely blasted transgender athletes and made it clear that he would not support them if he is elected president again.
During a recent interview on the right-wing radio show Kahal & Company, Donald Trump sounded off on some of the policies of the Joe Biden administration saying “the world is like a cuckoo’s nest” with “men playing in women’s sports.”
“A lot of things don’t make sense having to do with what they’re doing, from the border to men playing in women’s sports – the world is like a cuckoo’s nest with what they do,” Trump said.
Trump was then asked about his response to the Title IX changes that offer protection to transgender student-athletes competing in women’s sports, allowing them to compete against other women and use locker rooms according to their gender identity. And Trump did not hold back at all as he claimed that he would revoke those protections “on day one” if elected.
“It’s crazy. It’s crazy. We’re going to end it on day one. Don’t forget, that was done as an order from the president. That came down as an executive order. We’re going to change it on day one. On day one, it’s going to be changed – we’re going to change it. Yes, boys can go into girls’ locker rooms. The whole thing is crazy. Look, it’s like men playing in women’s sports,” Trump said.
“No, we’ll get that changed. Tell your people not to worry about it. It’ll be signed on day one – it’ll be terminated.”
Needless to say, it’s clear that he does not support the transgender community.
