Green Bay Packers legend Brett Favre hasn’t been one to shy away from his politics since hanging up the pads and cleats.
With the November presidential election only days away, that isn’t going to change now. Still, you’d think he’d be a little more careful when speaking out.
Favre was recently at a political rally for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Green Bay and took the podium to speak. Unfortunately, it’s not clear whether or not Favre has any idea about what’s going on around him.
“Much like the Packer organization, Donald Trump and his organization is a winner,” Favre says from the podium.

I’m afraid that’s shockingly not right for multiple reasons. For starters, Donald Trump is a renowned loser considering his performance in the last election he took place in saw him losing as the incumbent.
Secondly, the Green Bay Packers haven’t won a Super Bowl for over a decade, and only have four Super Bowls, which hardly compares to storied franchises like the Pittsburgh Steelers.
To top everything off, Favre himself is still dealing with the fallout of his Mississippi welfare scandal, in which he allegedly took money from those who needed it most.
Hopefully, the people closest to Favre make sure he receives the proper help and care he needs to lead a healthy life.
