This weekend’s Paris Olympics opening ceremony included what appeared to be a parody of the iconic Renaissance painting “The Last Supper” using drag queens and other performers. And former Ohio State Buckeyes star Master Teague III was furious.
“The Last Supper” shows the Jesus of Nazareth sharing a final meal with his disciples before his crucifixion. And Master Teague III seemed to see this parody of the iconic painting as an attack on Christianity.
“Hello Olympics. The audacity and irreverence of your opening performance towards Christ and Christianity is appalling and unacceptable. Such blatant disrespect can not go unchallenged. I condemn this in the name of Jesus and fervently pray for repentance among those responsible for this vile display. God will not be mocked. Ultimately, it is the Lord who will be exalted, not the perverse desires showcased in this performance. Those who choose to take a stand against God are courting death and destruction, and it will not pass you by,” Teague said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

“REPENT, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
They were certainly some strong words from Teague, and they led to a lot of reactions on social media.

Clearly, Teague was not happy.
