Since the Minnesota Wild acquired little-used goalie Devan Dubnyk from the Arizona Coyotes in mid-January, most things have gone right for a team that was wildly underachieving. During the Wild’s win over the Devils on Tuesday night, Ryan Suter’s shot was deflected in the direction of Zach Parise, who calmly gloved it like a pretty touchdown pass.
Thomas Vanek, to Parise’s right would ultimately get the goal on the execution of a play just like it was drawn up. Although it had absolutely nothing to do with Dubynk, things continue to go very well for the Wild.
