It’s quite documented that Zdeno Chara has the league’s hardest slapshot, but did you know that it can slice a goalie’s head right off his body? Well, that’s according to the aggressive new “banned” commercial (above) for Warrior’s new Dynasty hockey stick.
The ad features a trio of goaltenders watching a grindhouse-esque movie trailer that features Chara unleashing a deadly slapper on net, much to the horror of the goalies sitting down for movie night. Jimmy Howard is clearly the scaredy-cat of the group, as he’s especially horrified by Chara’s rampage.
There’s also a “censored” version of the ad, which features an atomic explosion killing the victim in the crease instead. Yeah, real subtle.
