It looks like the jumbotron at Wrigley Field is already paying off for the Cubs, as well as the fans of Chicago. On Saturday night the Cubs were in a rain delay with the Cincinnati Reds and upper management did the right thing and put the Blackhawks Stanley Cup Final Game 5 on the left field jumbotron. The rain soaked fans couldn’t have been happier, and video of them erupting as the Blackhawks won the game has surfaced thanks to one of those fans.
Very solid move by the Cubs to toss the game on the big screen, and awesome work by the Chicago faithful to stick it out in the rain. The Blackhawks took a 3-2 series lead over the Lightning and look to close out the series at the United Center on Monday night.
