The Wild’s Thomas Vanek used this awesome ‘Around the World’ stick fake on his shootout attempt in Minnesota on Saturday night. The trickery was effective enough to lull Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard to sleep before Vanek sniped top corner, but the Wings ultimately would come out with the extra point in the skills competitions.
Still, Vanek’s creativity was quite an awesome display.
