The New Jersey Devils endured one of the worst seasons in franchise history in 2014-15, racking up just 78 points and finishing in seventh place in the Metropolitan division. They were nowhere near a playoff berth for the third straight season, finishing 20 points out of the Eastern Conference race.
Although it’s a new season and some might be optimistic that things won’t be AS bad, things will likely be AS bad, if not worse.
