It appears that T.J. Oshie might have a second set of eyes on the back of his head.
That’s the only explanation for how he managed to pull off such a sick feed to David Backes during the second period of Thursday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Backes started off the sequence by delivering an excellent 125 foot pass off the boards and right onto the stick of Oshie, who carried it behind the Lightning net and went through-the-legs to set up a Backes one-timer that beat Ben Bishop.
It was an incredibly beautiful and impressive sequence, especially considering Oshie’s feed was of the no-look variety and still managed to wind up right in Backes’ wheelhouse.
