Thursday night’s Blues-Blackhawks series-opening game got off to a hot start in St. Louis, featuring five goals in the first twenty minutes. The last strike came off the stick of Patrick Kane on a breakaway with just under two minutes to play in the period. The ‘Hawks star forward used his quick release to make Blues netminder Ryan Miller look like a stone statue as he gave Chicago a 3-2 lead heading into intermission.
Almost had it, Ryan!
