On Thursday night, the Boston Bruins traveled to Toronto to take on the Maple Leafs for what might be the last time this season. The Bruins are currently sitting pretty atop the Eastern Conference while, after an epic collapse, the Leafs need every point they can get as they cling on to the possibility of playoff contention.
It’s highly unlikely Leafs fans forget what happened the last time these two teams met LAST season but – following a fight with David Clarkson – Milan Lucic decided to remind one loudmouthed Toronto fan from the penalty box during the second period at Air Canada Centre.
I wonder what kind of response Lucic got from his “What happened last year?” inquiries. I can’t imagine it was anything nice.
