Hockey players are generally pretty picky and obsessive about their equipment. If this video is any indication, Calgary Flames forward Mike Cammalleri is not one of those guys.
Cammalleri forgot a pretty important piece of equipment before taking the ice for pre-game skate against the Oilers this past Saturday – his blades. Yes, he took the ice with bladeless skates. Bold strategy, Cotton.
As you can imagine, the warmup didn’t go too well for Cammalleri, who had to be pushed off the ice by teammates after he spent a few moments flopping around on the ice like a fish out of water. From the looks of things, he didn’t seem too broken up about it.
