After winning probably the lamest mayoral Stanley Cup bet in the history of mayoral Stanley Cup bets, Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti got some street cred back by breaking “the two rules of politics” while at the Kings parade on Monday.
While giving his speech to the crowd in attendance at Staples Center, Garcetti said he’s never supposed to be photographed with a drink in his hand or swear in public. Then he proceeded to call it a “big fucking day” and raise his beer in celebration.
As you’d expect, the crowd loved it. That man probably just earned himself a few votes.
