Late in Tuesday’s Blackhawks-Avalanche game in Chicago, linesman Andy McElman attempted to break up a scrum between Avalanche center Max Talbot and Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival. Unfortunately for McElman, an errant shove/punch caught him on the chin and sent him falling to the ice. It was pretty funny for those of us at home, but I hope Talbot and Rozsival chipped in to buy McElman a beer or something after the game.
