LeBron James is a big-time wine connoisseur, and apparently, his young kids are too.
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar was talking pop culture with Lakers media when somehow the conversation shifted to wine. James said his 11-year-old and 14-year-old sons drink wine since “that’s how mature they are.”
James also added his children drink whatever their parents are having and that the decision was his.
James said his children drink “whatever dad’s and mom’s having. Put it on me, though. Don’t put it on mom (Savannah). Put it on dad, put it on dad, James told the media. “
Was LeBron joking? I have no sweet clue. He does love his wine.
It’s not a popular concept for young teens to drink wine in the U.S., but in some countries, such as Italy and France, it’s somewhat more socially acceptable. At least that’s what TV taught me.
His two kids, Bronny and Bryce, seem pretty well adjusted considering their immense famous father. In this case, I’m not the person to judge LeBron’s parenting.
