Los Angeles Kings forward Justin Williams has been known around the NHL for his impressive track record in playoff Game 7’s, and for good reason. Heading into Sunday’s series finale against the Chicago Blackhawks, Williams was 6-0 in six career Game 7’s with six goals and six assists.
Williams definitely brought focus and intensity to his seventh Game 7 as well, as evidenced by this hilarious clip from pregame that shows Willie Mitchell trying to erase Justin’s game face by rubbing his stick. Mitchell fails, then proceeds to have a good laugh at Williams’ impenetrable stare.
Williams’ focus was not limited to pregame either, as Mr. Game 7 tallied a goal and an assist and improved to 7-0 lifetime as the Kings beat the ‘Hawks in OT to advance to the Cup Final.
