The marketing folks for Thursday night’s Florida Panthers game didn’t really think this one through.
Fans were given plastic rats at the game, and after each of the Panthers’ three goals fans threw them on the ice. The Devils were handed power plays each time.
The Panthers still won 3-2, so those power plays didn’t end up mattering all that much regardless.
