Sidney Crosby had a rough night against the Hurricanes in Pittsburgh on Tuesday and, at one point, he decided to take out his frustrations on Canes defenseman Jay Harrison by basically chokeslamming him to the ice.
It was a takedown that wrestling fans might compare to one of The Rock’s signature moves, “The Rock Bottom.” Dwayne Johnson (aka The Rock himself) took to Twitter on Thursday to let it be known that he approved of Sid’s interpretation of his famous move.
Good form, Sid!;) RT: @TrevDueck: Sidney Crosby's a fan of the People's Champ @TheRock. Watch Sid "lay the smackdown" http://t.co/LyeU6tAUn2
