Joel Quenneville would likely have no trouble unseating Rahm Emanuel as Chicago mayor this week. The Canadian-born former player just wrapped up his seventh year with the Blackhawks, capturing his third Stanley Cup during that time. He’s managed to reach the playoff in each season and has only missed the playoffs three total times in 18 years as head coach, having previously spent eight seasons with the Blues and three in Colorado.
His roster is loaded with talent but his coaching expertise has helped craft a dynasty in the Windy City. As a result, understandably, he is beloved by the Chicago faithful, who continued with their post-Cup tradition of TP’ing his house:
