Los Angeles local news affiliates can’t seem to grasp the difference between the Sacramento Kings and the Los Angeles Kings. In a recent newscast on LA’s CBS affiliate they showed a clip of the Sacramento Kings mascot (Slamson), when they should have been showing a clip of Bailey, the LA Kings mascot. This isn’t the first mess up by a long shot. There was a logo mix-up, and there was also a very poorly worded recap of highlights as well.
Hopefully we can get another apology like the below:
