Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill is seeking more money from the team this offseason after star receivers like Justin Jefferson and A.J. Brown got big pay raises. This led some to speculate that Hill could choose to leave the team in search of more money if contract talks don’t go as planned. But it doesn’t sound like that’s going to happen.

During a recent press conference, Tyreek Hill made it clear that even though he is indeed seeking more money on his contract, he has decided that his “No. 1 priority” is “ensuring I’m a Dolphin for life” instead of becoming the highest-paid wide receiver in the league.

“This is obviously the best situation for me and the family,” Hill said according to NFL Media. “I don’t think it can get any better. . . . Everything that comes with living in Miami is beautiful.”

As for the contract talks, Hill made it clear that he intends to leave all of that to his agent.

“About the contract situation, I’m going to let my agent do his job,” Hill said. “That’s his job, man. His job is to get great at that. My job is obviously to come out here and help this team win. . . . We want to make sure it benefits both sides. I want to be able to help the team as much as I can. That’s as much as I can say about it.”

Needless to say, it is a pretty strong decision from Hill, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.

We’ll have to see if the two sides can work out a deal this offseason.
