The Miami Dolphins made the bold decision to trade for star wide receiver Tyreek Hill before the start of the 2022-23 season. And according to Hill, the team could continue to benefit from this move for quite some time.

Hill was always an excellent player for the Kansas City Chiefs, earning a Pro Bowl appearance in each of the first six seasons with the team. But miraculously, he has taken his talents to new heights under head coach Mike McDaniel in Miami.

In each of the last two seasons, Hill has recorded at least 1700 receiving yards, completely transforming the Dolphins offense into one of the best in all of football in the process.

Ahead of his third season in Miami, Hill recently proclaimed that he “never wants to leave” the Dolphins.

“I love Miami. I love every bit of it,” Hill said during a recent appearance on the Around the Bar podcast. “My wife loves it, the kids love it, my mom loves it, and it’s just a beautiful city to live in. There’s so much stuff to do. Obviously, I would like to retire in Miami, but we all know how the NFL is, how jobs go, and people getting promotions over here and we understand that. But Miami is a great city. I love the team I play on, love the guys in the locker room, love the head coach, love the GM. So that means sign me. I love all you guys so much, I want to stay in Miami forever, man. Keep me there.”

There are obviously plenty of factors around Hill spending the rest of his career in Miami. Hill obviously will want to feel like he is paid according to his skill set. But as long as Hill is compensated fairly, it sure seems like he will be playing for the Dolphins for the foreseeable future.
