On Thursday, Tom Brady held a press conference to address the investigation into the Patriots’ under-inflated footballs for the AFC Championship Game (more popularly known as Deflate-Gate).
Much like Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, Brady denied knowing anything about why the footballs that the Patriots used during the AFC Championship Game were inflated below league standards.
“I just assumed they were exactly the same, first half, second half,” Brady said. “I would never do anything outside of the rules.”
“I don’t know what happened over the course of the process with the footballs,” Brady added. “I was preparing for my own job.”
However, there were times where Brady appeared to be deflecting rather than denying.
Brady: "I have no knowledge of anything. I have no knowledge of any wrongdoing. I am very comfortable saying that."

Reactions around the internet were a bit skeptical of Brady’s performance. Here’s some of the less kind takes from those who watched Tom Brady’s song and dance with the media on Thursday.
