Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is one of the most controversial athletes in the United States. Tagovailoa’s talent and impact on the Dolphins are undeniable when he is on the field.
However, after multiple frightening head injuries, many believe that it is in his best interest to leave the violent sport of football behind before he suffers a head injury that causes irreversible damage. Something that he becomes increasingly more susceptible to with each subsequent head injury.
Now, Tagovailoa’s father has revealed what his son told him, and it is a frightening prospect.
“‘Dad, I love this game and I’ll die on the field for this game,’ – Tua Tagovailoa to his Dad, as told by Galu Tagovailoa to ESPN Honolulu,” reported Dolphins reported Joe Schad.

Fans reacted to the horrifying prospect on social media.
“There’s something really fake about him. He sounds…like a high school kid. Fake, cheesy quotes constantly,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Then it’s time to move on from him. If he can’t protect himself and be available for his team then he’s no good to them,” one fan added.
“Tua is young and emotional. We need a hard core disciplined Tua that can demand discipline & performance from others,” one Dolphins fan added.
“He says all the right words and doesn’t back any of them up,” added another fan.
“Well you see that’s the stupidity! You gain nothing going head first. You lose time neg affecting team,” added someone else.
It may be necessary for the league to step in to protect Tagovailoa from himself.
