Trevor Lawrence Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports

Trevor Lawrence has certainly been dominant during his three-year career with the Jacksonville Jaguars since he was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft – enough to earn him a massive new contract with the team this offseason. And he’s done it despite a lot of drops from his wide receivers.

According to Bill Barnwell of ESPN, Trevor Lawrence has had more passes dropped by his receivers than any other quarterback in the entire league the past three seasons, since Lawrence was drafted.

“Trevor Lawrence has the worst drop rate for any QB in football over the last three seasons,” Barnwell said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Needless to say, this is pretty horrible news for Lawrence as it means he could have been even more productive and successful than he has been during his first three seasons, and this news led to a lot of reactions on social media as a result.

Lawrence will undoubtedly hope that he gets more support from his receivers in the upcoming seasons after he signed a massive new deal with the team this offseason. We’ll see whether or not that happens.
