Before he even began dating pop sensation Taylor Swift, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made it no secret that he was a big fan of her music and was a Swiftie himself. And during a recent interview, he even revealed his favorite Taylor Swift “Era.”
This weekend, Travis Kelce hosted his Kelce Jam music festival in Kansas City where he was interviewed not so much about his relationship with the pop star, but about his Taylor Swift fandom. During the interview, he was asked to name his favorite Taylor Swift “Era,” and he did not hesitate before saying 1989.
“I’m a big 1989 era [fan]. But I’m not going to lie, I might be a little biased toward The Tortured Poets Department. Just a little bit,” Kelce said.
“i’m a big 1989 era… but im not gonna lie might be a little biased towards ttpd”
On what song he’d add to kelce jam: “so high school… i think everyone would get fired up for that one”

The interviewer acknowledged that two of the songs on the new album were written about him, so it makes sense that he would like it. Kelce seemingly confirmed this, nodding and saying “Just a little bit biased.”
Needless to say, it’s pretty clear that Kelce is genuinely a fan of Swift’s music and not just because he is dating her. And it’s pretty clear that he is excited to have songs written about him.
