Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce have known fame before as major starts in the NFL, but they reached a new level of status after Travis Kelce began dating pop sensation Taylor Swift. And Shaquille O’Neal had a message for the two brothers as they learn to deal with the newfound fame and attention.
During a recent appearance on The Big Podcast with Shaq, Jason Kelce opened up about the difficulties he and his brother have experienced after Travis began dating Taylor Swift, revealing that Travis Kelce even had to move out of his house due to harassment, only for people to find his new address the very next day.
“We’ve always been big in the football world – Travis especially,” Jason Kelce said. “The Taylor world, the pop culture world, that’s a whole different level. It’s just a new demographic that wasn’t there before.”
And Shaq offered some important advice.
“The key is to stay righteous,” Shaq said. “For example, people take pictures of me all of the time. A lot of times they’re taking pictures because they’re trying to up their Instagram or whatever and trying to sell a story.”
But Shaq made it clear that Jason and Travis Kelce have nothing to worry about as long as they stay true to themselves and don’t have anything to hide.
“I’ve been watching you and your brother a long time, I can tell that you’re good wholesome people,” Always keep your head on a swivel now, because there be some crazies, but if you’re not doing nothing, there’s nothing to hide.”
It’s certainly a new world for the Kelce brothers.
