Earlier this month, what turned out to be a fake PR document surfaced suggesting that the relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce was nothing but a PR stunt, and their “breakup” would be coming at the end of the month. And it sounds like Kelce was not at all about this report.
The falsified document suggested that the couple was set to break up on Sept. 28 and included the watermark for Full Scope PR, which represents Travis Kelce. The LA-based firm was quick to deny the validity of the document and threatened legal action against those who forged it.
“We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents,” the group said in a statement.
And it sounds like Kelce was quite upset by the news.
The U.S. Sun quoted an anonymous source close to the situation who said that the Kansas City Chiefs star tight end was not happy about the news of the forged document.
“He got upset and [furious] about that fake contract,” the insider told the U.S. Sun.
The U.S. Sun said that Swift and Kelce both think that the forged document crossed a line.
“They both know that tons of spotlights are on them and that all their moves and things are being scrutinized,” the source said. “But people can’t do fake contracts.”
We’ll have to see whether or not Kelce and the PR firm ever find out who forged the document.
