Earlier this month, Taylor Swift was forced to cancel three of her concerts in Vienna, Austria as a result of a terrorist threat. And it sounds like the whole situation left her football star boyfriend a bit uneasy.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was back in the United States as his girlfriend Taylor Swift was forced to deal with the terrifying situation, and according to a report from Life & Style magazine, he felt “helpless” in the “horrible” situation.
“It’s been so horrible, he hated having to sit back and do nothing but wait. He wanted to rush to her side to protect her but obviously he couldn’t do that,” a source exclusively told Life & Style. “Anyway, she had plenty of bodyguards to keep her safe, but still, it left him feeling pretty helpless.”
The source added that the event made Kelce “aware of how quickly things can change and reminded them how precious life is.”
Obviously, Swift was ultimately safe as the concerts were canceled and those who made the threats against them were apprehended by authorities. But it was an undeniably scary situation and it sounds like Kelce was quite concerned for her safety.
