Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Ever since Taylor Swift released her album The Tortured Poets Departement last month, there has been a lot of speculation that two of the songs on the album – “So High School” and “The Alchemy” – referenced her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. But that’s no longer just speculation because Travis Kelce essentially confirmed it this week.

During an interview at his Kelce Jam music festival in Kansas City this week, Travis Kelce was asked to name his favorite Taylor Swift era. Kelce immediately said that 1989 was his favorite, but he quickly added that he is obviously “a little biased” toward the new album.

“I’m a big 1989 era [fan]. But I’m not going to lie, I might be a little biased toward The Tortured Poets Department. Just a little bit,” Kelce said.

The reason for this bias, as the interviewer points out, is because “there’s a couple of songs for you” on the album. Kelce confirmed this by nodding his head and saying “Just a little bit biased.”

Kelce took it a step further by suggesting that if there was any Taylor Swift song he could play at the music festival over the weekend, it would be “So High School” – one of the songs written about their relationship.

“I think everyone would get fired up for that one,” Kelce said with a smile.

Obviously, these comments led to a lot of reactions on social media.

Now, there’s no more room for speculation.
