No. 3: Doug Martin
2012 – Week 9
Total Points: 51.20
Buccaneers rookie running back Doug Martin posted a nifty 31-point Thursday Night Football effort 10 days earlier against the Minnesota Vikings but decided to one-up his numbers against Oakland. This legendary game completely distorted expectations for Martin for the remainder of 2012, all of 2013 and thus far in 2014, but it remains one of the most incredible single-game statistical performances in NFL history.
Martin recorded touchdown scampers of 45, 67 and 70-yards in racking up 251 rushing yards and bringing the Bucs back to .500 at 4-4. He added another couple points on 21 receiving yards and one more TD plunge to give him four scores and 51.20 fantasy points.
