Unlike Faulk’s 47.5 point outburst, everyone remembers this massive game for Adrian Peterson, one in which he put up 296 rushing yards in breaking the single game rushing record. The now-unemployed running back added 19 receiving yards and scored three TDs against San Diego, but did lose a fumble, otherwise he would have been higher on the list.
