Despite being involved in the most exhausting sports scandal of our times, Tom Brady has not lost his sense of humor.
Brady spoke at the Patriots Charitable Foundation gala on Tuesday, where he wryly waxed poetic about his summer:
“Yeah, it’s been such an enjoyable offseason.”
Still, Deflategate joke aside, when asked for the highlight of his summer, Brady was pretty specific. According to the Patriots quarterback, the best part of his summer was following Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman on Instagram.
“Probably following Julian Edelman on Instagram has been my favorite activity all summer,” Brady said, in a video via CSNNE.com. “When he rubbed the mud all over his body, that was probably the one I enjoyed the most.”
No, Brady wasn’t kidding about the existence of that Instagram post either. Julian posted the clip last week in all of its muddy glory.
