Tom Brady’s got a message for his haters, and he’s using rapper 50 Cent to make it known.
On Monday, the New England Patriots quarterback posted a video message on his Instagram. In the post, Brady says its “great to be working on a Monday,” before shouting out the team’s 41-28 win over the San Diego Chargers, and saying “we’re on to Kansas City, baby.”
The music hyping up the video is 50 Cent’s “Many Men.” Here’s the part Brady chose to use.
“Many men wish death upon me. Blood in my eye, dog, and I can’t see. I’m trying to be what I’m destined to be, and n****s trying to take my life away.”
Brady’s using 50’s lyrics to tell haters he’s great and there’s nothing they can do about it.
50 Cent seemed to dig it, reposting the vid with the caption “Oh shit he gonna do it again, 🤦♂️he listening to (Many Men) getting his mind right. @tombrady let’s go!!!
Anyone else Brady is really playing up that he’s an underdog in this situation when he’s clearly not? Sure, analysts have called him old and might have suggested he’s lost a step, but he’s still Tom Brady. There’s no need to say “everyone thinks” the Patriots “suck.” The Patriots aren’t underdogs. Brady’s fully allowed to clap back at haters, though. Playing 50 Cent music is a good way of doing it.
