In case you missed it last weekend, the Patriots smashed the Broncos at home in a matchup of AFC powerhouses. Julian Edelman had a huge punt return touchdown in the second quarter, giving him his fourth career return touchdown – good enough for a new Patriots franchise record.
As you can imagine, Tom Brady was very, very excited for his close friend and favorite target, but his might have gone overboard with his immediate assessment of Edelman’s special teams status.
“The greatest punt returner in NFL history right there.”
