Say what you want about Tim Tebow but there’s no denying that the guy is pretty darn persistent. Even after signing a deal with ESPN to serve as a college football analyst for the upcoming season, Tebow still isn’t giving up his dreams of being an NFL quarterback.
That’s why he’s been traveling to Arizona to work out with trainer Ian Danney, who has several professional football players on his client list. From the exlcusive footage captured by a local news crew, Danney’s workouts look to be pretty insane – especially “Danney Ball,” which is basically a version of beach volleyball played with a 10-pound medicine ball. It doesn’t look like the leisurely beach game you’re used to, that’s for sure.
Tebow’s ESPN contract has an out-clause that allows him to leave the network if an NFL team were to come calling, so hopefully his Danney Ball efforts aren’t all for naught.
