When you think above average quarterbacks, you probably don’t think of Miami Dolphins QB Brock Osweiler. Yet, in a cruel twist of fate for Bears fan, he can’t stop beating Chicago.
The 3-2 Dolphins faced off against the 3-1 Bears on Sunday with Osweiler getting the start due to an inactive Ryan Tannehill, who’s dealing with a shoulder injury. Osweiler, who’s thrown just six touchdown passes in the last two seasons entering the game, was expected to struggle against the mighty Bears defense. However, the 27-year-old was nails.
Osweiler tore apart Chicago’s fearsome defense, completing 28 passes on 44 attempts, for a whopping 380 yards and three touchdowns. In true Osweilerian fashion, he threw two picks as well. But, Osweiler was an unlikely victor, leading Miami to a 31-28 overtime victory to temporarily put the team atop the AFC East.

It turns out Osweiler is somewhat of a menace to Chicago. In three career games, he’s a perfect 3-0 against the team, completing more than 65 percent of his passes with seven touchdowns and three picks.
In the unlikely event Osweiler starts against Chicago in the near future, you can’t bet against him. This afternoon he proved he likes to hunt Bears. He’s pure money. Will he continue this success? Definitely not. But it’s fun to ride the wave in the meantime.
