Ever since Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift began dating last year, the pop superstar has not exactly been shy about displaying her affection for her boyfriend. Swift has changed lyrics to songs to reference Kelce and even written new songs that clearly reference their relationship. But she made a pretty significant move for Kelce on stage at her show in London this weekend.
During her performance of her hit song “Love Story,” Taylor Swift made a point to acknowledge Travis Kelce standing in the audience at a key part in the song, and he acknowledged her right back.
During the chorus of “Love Story,” Swift sings the lyrics “You’ll be the prince and I’ll be the princess.” During that part in the song, Swift and Kelce pointed to each other with Kelce as the “prince” and Swift as the “princess.”

This isn’t the first time that Swift has publicly acknowledged her relationship with Kelce during concerts. She typically changes the lyrics of the song “Karma” from “Karma is the guy on the screen” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs,” in reference to Kelce. She also added the song “So High School” to the Eras Tour setlist last month, which references her relationship with Kelce.
Needless to say, it’s pretty big to see her publicly acknowledge her love interest while on stage like this because it is not something she has typically done throughout her career.
Clearly, her relationship with Kelce must be special.
