Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been together for well over a year at this point, but that doesn’t mean they have had the chance to spend much quality downtime together. But it sounds like they’re planning to change that.
According to a report from Us Weekly, Taylor Swift is planning to spend some time resting when her global Eras Tour finally comes to a close this month.
“Taylor’s exhausted,” a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday. “She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime.”
That means that she can finally spend some downtime with Travis Kelce.
“Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate [with Travis] for a while,” the insider told the outlet.
While this might seem like an obvious move, it’s a pretty significant step in their relationship.
Up to this point, Taylor and Travis have not exactly had much downtime to spend together alone. This will give them a chance to truly get to know each other.
“They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple,” a second source told the outlet. “Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because [that’s when] the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play. They will learn so much about each other.”
It sounds like this is an important time for them as a couple, and many of Taylor’s life and career decisions could hinge on how their relationship develops.
“A lot of it hinges on what happens over the next year with Travis,” the second source told Us Weekly. “She’s told her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”
Clearly, this is an important time and a big step for the couple.
